Currently I am am the Dean at the faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities at Tel-Hai College. I also serve as professor at the department of Economics and Management at Tel-Hai College.

My main area of specialty is natural resources and environmental economics. I earned B.Sc and M.Sc from the department of Agricultural Economics and Management at the Hebrew university in Israel. I earned my Ph.D. from the department of Applied Economics at the University of Minnesota at the Twin Cities (Minneapolis-St.Paul), Minnesota, USA

My professional career in the early 90's was mainly associated with the economics of water resources. I was later involved with several issues concerning the economics of sir pollution regulation. Since the early two hundred century may main interest lies in the area of cost benefit analysis and valuation of non market natural and environmental resources goods.

Recently I have completed several projects concerning: The cost of nature protection, the cost of cancer due to air pollution and the benefit of reducing biological invasion. Other projects are TCM and CVM projects of forests in Israel, cost benefit analysis of energy conservation, cost benefit analysis of reducing air pollution and cost benefit analysis of river reclamation. I was also a part of a governmental committee dealing with the different consequences of the Dead Sea continues level decrease.

Classes I am teaching includes: Operations research, international trade, cost benefit analysis, managerial economics and environmental economics.
